By Way of Love Light and Truth Outreach Ministries is in the heart of South Memphis, where my mother, Shirley Hampton, selflessly established the ministry after feeling called back to this community to be a beacon of hope. Whether providing food and clothing or offering odd jobs for pay, she was always there for anyone requiring assistance. After her passing in 2010, I took the reins. I ran our programs for a decade using my income and donations from family and friends. Finally, in 2020, we obtained the non-profit 501c3 status that had always been our ministry's dream.
